Provides insight, guidance and direction for players as well as parents.

We are offering 1 on 1 counseling sessions to help players as well as parents navigate through the challenges that arise as it relates to being a student-athlete. Some of the topics are as follows (note - these are the topics I've encountered most frequently):

Gerald Jarmon, Lead Counselor
His background and credentials:

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications and minor in Sports Science
  • Former D1 college basketball player at University of Richmond
  • 4-year starter as point guard
  • As a freshman, led team to one of the greatest NCAA tournament upsets of all time (defeated Syracuse, 1991)
  • Played professional basketball overseas and for Harrisburg Horizon
  • Former high school and collegiate coach
  • Father and christian mentor
  • Former schoolteacher
  • Motivational speaker
